I like to make things and make people happy.
This usually manifests itself in the form of cooking for my friends and family as nothing makes people smile more than when they’re eating good food. I bring this same mindset to my design work.
Before finding HCI, I came from a technology and software development background. Through experimenting with emerging technology and the interactions that enable people to use them, I learned about the design process. Quickly, I found myself caring more about these human needs than meeting programming runtimes. So in 2019, I moved to Seattle to work towards a degree in this field.
In August 2020, I graduated with my master’s degree in Human-Computer Interaction + Design from the University of Washington. A year into my Seattle life, and all the good coffee and amazing hikes that come with it, I’m looking for opportunities to put my design skills to good use.
